Rocco
1.5 yr old Pure Bred Border Collie
Rocco is my new foster pup. He is one of those "once in a life time" dogs. He is loving, snuggly, and smart. He would be the perfect companion to any active home. He is awesome with dogs, kids, and strangers since he assumes that everyone was put on this planet to pet him. He likes cats but takes a few meetings to make sure that they are not going to hurt him. Once he knows them they are his best buds like everyone else.
Rocco has some rear-end issues that are being evaluated in foster care. He currently wears braces on both rear legs to keep the knee joints supported. He will be seeing a specialist in the next few months to see if we can help this boy get all fixed up. Dispite his obvious physical problems, Rocco doesn't let that dampen his outlook on life. When I say he is a special dog, I mean it. He melts you heart and it is VERY hard to get angry at him. He has some OCD issues but with proper redirection they are almost un-noticable. He would be a prime candidate for therapy work due to his gentle and tollerant natre.
I absolutly love this dog and he diserves a good loving home.
